Dedicated To All My Lovely Life Time Buddies….

As if marriage was not enough,

Parenthood hit us hard enough.

Hang our kids on a banyan tree we did,

Did not realise hang ourselves also we did.

Mommies bonded well but worried too,

How will we get together the daddies too.

In for a big surprise were all of us soon,

How hard was it to keep us apart so soon.

Music, fodder and wine made us swing,

A certain damsel tried to take a swing.

She christened us unknowingly well,

‘The Gotri Gang’ is how all know us so well.

Angel

When this life seems dull,
Everywhere there is only a lull.
You are all down & out,
Just like in a boxing bout.
Life has given up on you,
Without leaving a single clue.
There comes an Angel in your life,
Who is there to fight in this strife.
Always going to be there on your side,
Taking everything so in her stride.
Change you will, is a surety,
Shine like a new dollar bill.
Surprised will people be,
When it is the different you they see.
They will wonder, ponder & look all yonder,
But finally surrender, come to you & ask how?
'Well it is a she, a miracle, of the one to whom you bow !'
This is what you will tell,
Hoping it finally rings a bell.
I have found this Angel in my life,
Dearly want her to be my wife.
Love very much whom I do,
That my dear is the so very lovely You !

Turtle Doves

Ever since you wake in the morning,
Only one thought gets you going.
The one of her & only her,
& the the two of you being together.
Never knew what it was going to be,
But let me tell you it is worth a see.
All the things you have to do & not do,
To keep together the two of you.
How lovely caring & beautiful she is,
You realise you have found eternal bliss.
If some tell me, 'Its still the beginning..,
& Later one day you will be done..'
I would say why talk about the end..
When there is going to be none.

So my dear,
All you have to do is care & love,
& remain together like a pair of 'Turtle Doves..' !

'I Wonder..'

My Dearest Sweet Pumpkin
How did it all begin?
Mesmerising, Comforting..
But the talks were still long.
Which quite often made me wonder
Is it me to whom you belong?
I used to wonder was it going to be eternal bliss..
Or was it just another miss?
A hit it was, a big one..
Everyone searched but you were gone.
Wonder I still do if I do wish upon a star..
Would I still get my dream car?
Hah ! I am but a fool..
Coz it is you over whom I now drool.
Well, I have noticed this Wonder never seems to leave me..
And I so wish it would never so be.
Coz my lovely dearest..
You will never cease to 'Wonder' me.
So who else buy 'You' can it be..

Together

With dreamy eyes we began the journey,
All we wanted as to be together.
Moments separate just got too lonely,
Just could not wait to be together.
Some said it is difficult to keep it burning,
We replied it only needed us to be together.
Time slipped by & memories faded away,
It would all come back if remain to be together.
Strings began to strain, would it end one day?
It could not be, we are meant to be together.
The oil is low, the flame is dim,
But are not we still happy to be together.
So why done we just love & trust,
Let us get each other out of this rut,
Because there cannot be anything else on this Earth,
But for us to live & to be together..Always..!

Sweetheart...
The word says it all,
Who else but you would I call.
The girl I love & need.
Like the thread to hold a bead.
Gone yesterday, it is today,

The Birthday Wish

To Jaini ..!

Candles will be blown..

A cake or two will be cut.

‘Make a wish’ all will say..

Well, why not you think.

Let me indulge a little..

It is after all my Birthday.

Tearing wrappers was the high..

Today all it takes is a glass.

More the merrier it used to be..

Now candlelight will do just fine.

How have Birthdays changed..

Just as life has for all of us.

But I still have a Birthday Wish..
